Leading the way for TSMC
Sunlit Chemical started constructionof factory in United States today

A Taiwanese manufacturer, Sunlit Chemical, which supplies chemical raw materials for TSMC and other semiconductor production, broke ground today in Phoenix, Arizona, USA to build a plant.

Sunlit Chemical is building a 900,000-square-foot factory with a total area of about 17 acres, near Seventh Avenue and Happy Valley Road in Phoenix. The company expects to spend $100 million on the project in two phases, with the first part slated to become operational early next year, according to a press release from the Arizona Department of Commerce.

The new facility will make Sunlit Chemical a major supplier of high-purity hydrofluoric acid (hydrofluoric acid) for U.S. semiconductor factories. Bryan Lin, president of Sunlit Chemical, said that TSMC, the world's largest semiconductor foundry, is helping Phoenix transform into a chip manufacturing center. , we are also a major player.

After TSMC announced its plan to build a 5nm wafer foundry in Arizona last year, Sunlit Chemical has become the first semiconductor supplier to plant its flag at a supplier gathering place designated for TSMC.

Sunlit Chemical purchased 17 acres of land in Mack Innovation Park (Mack Innovation Park) in Phoenix last August, and was the first important supplier to buy property in Phoenix. Sunlit Chemical mainly produces hydrofluoric acid, sodium fluoride, ammonium fluoride, phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid and other fluorides used in semiconductor manufacturing.
