Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Limited (TSMC) held its 2023 Supply Chain Management Forum today (7th). During the forum, TSMC first expressed its gratitude to all supplier partners for their support and outstanding contributions over the past year, and presented the 2023 Excellent Supplier Awards.
Amid the challenges facing global supply chains—including social, economic, and geopolitical pressures—TSMC has worked hand-in-hand with its supply chain partners to demonstrate operational resilience. Together, they have successfully advanced and expanded capacity for leading-edge and specialty process technologies such as 3nm, developed next-generation technologies below the 2nm node, and progressed global manufacturing expansion plans. Through its leading technology and world-class manufacturing services, TSMC continues to enable customer innovation.
This year’s forum centered on sustainability, featuring a keynote speech by Ms. Lora Ho, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chairperson of the ESG Committee at TSMC. For the first time, the forum included a panel discussion with industry experts exploring the theme “Unleashing the Power of Supply Chains to Change the World.” It also expanded to include breakout sessions on equipment, raw materials, components, IT, and facility engineering. These comprehensive exchanges served to inspire continuous improvement in supply chain quality and promote sustainable development within the industry.
